DTAC 2009 Toastmasters Conference

Dear Toastmasters:

DTAC-2009, the grand finale of all the contests in the district, will be held at Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, on 21st, 22nd and 23rd May 2009. The DTAC Committee, headed by Chairman DTM Nasef Anwar Dhafari, is in full swing working on the arrangements to make DTAC-2009 a one of an event – an event to be remembered and reminisced always.

DTAC is an opportunity for the toastmasters in the District for networking and meeting old and new friends. This year’s DTAC is a bit different to the previous ones because of the run-off competitions on 21st, wherein winners at the Division level will contest for entry into the District level contest. I understand that arrangements are progressing fast and you will soon be getting frequent updates from the DTAC organizing Committee.

I would like to take this opportunity to encourage all toastmasters in the District to take advantage of the early bird discount and register in advance for DTAC-2009. DTAC is your event and I urge active participation and support to make it successful. I have been given to understand that it will be an experience par excellence and I believe in it.
